Annie Kriegel, FTP-MOI, sociologue et historienne, est revenue, à l'occasion de la rédaction de ses mémoires, Ce que j'ai cru comprendre, sur l'ensemble de son parcours, depuis le foyer judéo-alsacien où elle a grandi jusqu'à ses différents "retours" après son engagement dans la Résistance puis son activité "en communisme", notamment comme responsable à l'idéologie. Cet article, centré sur la question de l'idéologie et du rapport à la vérité, esquisse quelques linéaments de la relation entre communisme et judaïsme, le grand objet d'Annie Kriegel.

Annie Kriegel, FTP-MOI, a sociologist and an historian, went back over her itinerary as a whole, when she decided to write hers memoirs, What I thought I had understood, starting from her judeo-alsacian home where she grew up to her various "come back" after her adhering to the Resistance, then her action "in communism" mainly as the one in charge of the ideology. This article, centered upon the problem of ideology and its connection with truth, outlines some features of the connection between communism and Judaism, the main problem for A. Kriegel.
